Web Site Promotion

Being listed in search engines and Internet directories is one of the most cost effective ways to increase customers. While most newspapers charge over $100 a column inch for an ad that will reach only a couple thousand people, for as little as $15 your site can be found by over 30 million people worldwide.

We recommend that you have your site listed on at least 20 search engines and directories. We offer 3 plans.

• $15 covers the cost of having your site submitted to 20 search engines and directories.

• $25 covers the cost of having your site submitted to 100 search engines and directories.

• $35 covers the cost of having your site submitted to 200 search engines and directories.

Scanning

Scanning pictures, newspapers, pages from books, or other small objects can be a great way to make images for your web page, copies for printing, or wallpaper for your computer. In addition to having these pictures on your web site, they can also be put on a CD-ROM for $7.

If you would like something scanned, then we can scan it and save the pictures to a disk, or put it on your web site, for very reasonable prices. Our scanner has an optical resolution of 300 dpi, and can capture over 16 million colors, so you can rest assured that you image will look as close to the original as possible.

The size of the object to be scanned does not effect the price.

• 1 to 5 scanned images are $6.00 each

• 6+ scanned images are $4.00 each

If you would like to have your scanned images edited, that would include the addition of drop shadows or any other special effect you would like, then we can create the custom image you like. This service is billed at $20 an hour.

Java

Java is a programming language designed to be small and efficient. Java applets are great for adding pizzazz to a page while increasing the wait your viewer experiences only slightly.

We can create banners, bullets, and image maps with special effects. Our image map applets are not to be confused with simple image map files. Our applets provide such options as outlining the selected part of an image, inverting its colors, and replacing one image with another. These effects happen when your visitors place their mouse over part of the image, or after they click it. The functionality of the applet is up to you, but remember that we are always happy to answer any questions you might have, and give suggestions.

All Java applets are available at only $10 for banners, $5 for bullets, and $15 for image maps if you supply the images. If you need graphics for the image maps, then see our pricing for custom graphics.

All of our Java applets are under $15. Many programmers charge $60-$90 PER HOUR for programming Java applets. We see that most people are not willing to pay that much money for simple Java applets, so we offer our applets at unbeatable prices.

We also do JavaScript for $10 -$15. With JavaScript, you can give the effect of push down buttons. The images appear to drop when you move the mouse over them. At the top of this page you can see the examples. You must have Netscape 3 or above to view the changes when you place the mouse over the images. Also note that Java applets may not work because of a corporate firewall.

Regretfully, we are unable to produce advanced Java applets like games and complex menus at this time.
